Mission
Plum Community Center is a warm and welcoming place where seniors can access resources and support, stay healthy, enjoy recreational activities, build friendships and give back to the community.
The Plum Community Center was established in the early 80s. It started as a one room facility and has grown to four larger rooms, a full kitchen where meals are prepared and served daily for Meals on Wheels and the congregate lunch, as well as several offices and a conference room.
It is a welcoming hub of activity for Plum seniors and offers programs for adults 60 and older, but the Community Center also offers programs for all ages. The center serves as an informational point of contact for other agencies as well. The Community Center has over 4000 members, and has an average of 72,000 visits per year.
